Alchemize, Connect, and Gather: A Community Practice, Workshop, and Discourse
All are invited to join in these afternoons of movement, breath, and community discourse. For the first hour, we will move and practice, each week with a different focus building up through grounding, to power and play, closing with ease and receiving. After each movement practice, we will have space to discuss our experiences and connect more deeply with our community. Specific topics of discussion will involve: creating a sustainable practice; the power of rest, connection, and retreat; the intersection of yoga practice and culture; and how the practice of yoga may impact communities and social change.

"Marie Belle has focused much of her professional and academic career on the roles that psychology, culture, and empowerment play in health, resilience, quality of life, and emotional well-being. She considers herself an anthropologist of movement: delving deeply into the heart and roots of classical yoga and meditation practice while also keeping a panoramic perspective that includes academic research in science, astrology, nutrition, and personal experience."

You can connect with Marie Belle on IG, online or see her upcoming retreat in Costa Rica (Feb 12-19, 2022):
